CFA® Level III tutoring over video with a charterholder
They do not grade what you know.
At Level III the grader marks what you write, point by point against a guideline, and a recommendation without a justification is worth zero. I teach you how to write for that guideline, and my course space grades every written answer against it, in seconds.
€49 a month after the trial, no commitment.
The Level III course space is open, in English and in French.

The exam format
Your answer is graded against a guideline, point by point.
Your answer
Recommend the liability-relative approach, because the client's spending need is fixed and the horizon is short…
The grader is looking for specific elements. A good idea badly laid out scores zero. The course space shows you what scored and what is missing, on every written answer.
The curriculum
The core, then your pathway.

Figures from my course space as of 25 October 2026.
The real risk
They tell you it takes 300 hours. They never tell you which ones.
In three years of teaching I have never seen anyone fail for lack of hours. I have seen candidates reach the exam with 300 hours behind them, 180 of them spent reading, and discover the question format three weeks before. Those are the ones who fail.
Where the 300 hours go at Level III
Hours rereading the curriculum, almost none writing under exam time. On the day, the right idea is there and the guideline cannot see it.
Reading is comfortable, and it pays very little on exam day: the exam does not ask you to recite, it asks you to answer quickly questions built to trap you. With me you read less, you practise in the exam format from the first week, and a quarter of your time goes into fixing what your skills map flags. You will probably still do the same 300 hours. You and I will know at any moment where they go.
What most candidates do with their 300 hours
What I make you do with yours
The split of hours is what I see in class.
Your online course space
Your course space, in five points.
That's where your hours go between two classes. Everything is written in house, on the official curriculum, and it works on your phone.
You learn, interactively
Short chapters where you touch everything. Every formula reads in words, in symbols and in numbers. Every definition opens a picture. The curves, you move them yourself.
La convexity d'une obligation explique pourquoi deux titres de même duration ne réagissent pas pareil.
Convexity
The curvature of the relationship between a bond price and its yield. The stronger it is, the more the price rises when yields fall, and the less it falls when they rise.
Tap the word, the curve appears
Drag the yield
You practise like in the exam
You work on exam format cases, with their written answers. Every written answer is graded point by point against the guideline, in seconds. You also have three full mocks, in English or in French.
Your answer
Recommend the liability-relative approach, because the client's spending need is fixed and the horizon is short…
Corrected straight away, with the trap explained.
You track your skills
Every answer is linked to a precise skill in the curriculum. Your map tells you what is solid, fragile or critical, and your week plan is rebuilt from there. You stop revising everything the same way, you go straight to what costs you points, and you move faster.

AI at the right dose: the kind that makes the course personal
At Level III it works on the guideline. A generative AI trained for this course, which I call Sniper, grades every written answer point by point, ties it to your skills map, and adapts what comes next. It is what makes the course personal between two times we meet.
- It grades your written answers against the exam guideline, in seconds: what scored, what is missing, and what the grader expected for each point.
- It spots the skills where your justification falls short and moves them up your week plan.
- On a passage you don't get, it asks you the question before it rather than re-explaining the whole chapter.
- It never writes for you.
- It doesn't give you the answer before you've tried.
- A no AI mode switches everything off, to practise like on exam day.
The session with me
If you want to, we meet for an hour every month, one to one, in the private course. I built a tool for it: my slides show on your screen, you solve the exercises on it, I see your answer the second you submit it, and everything stays in your course space afterwards. I prepare each hour from your skills map.
The three skills I pick for your session
- 1Asset Allocation · Recommending without justifying by the constraint
- 2Private Markets · The J curve, the answer without the number
- 3Derivatives · Duration hedge, which side of the contract
- 110 minWe reactivateA few quick moves on what you roughly know: place a point on a curve, put steps back in order, answer in one sentence.
- 235 minThe hard point, in detailThe intuition first, then the chart, the formula, an example, and your own mistake replayed against the right answer when that helps.
- 315 minYou work, I watchExam format exercises, in English, that you solve on your screen. I see your answer the second you submit it, and we correct on the spot.
An hour over video, one to one
On Google Meet, on weekday evenings or weekend mornings. You see my slides on your screen, synced with mine.
Prepared before we meet
I read your skills map, your latest answers and your written responses, and I build the session on what you get wrong, with your own mistakes when that helps.
Teaching, then work in front of me
On each point, I explain why it traps you, I show you the method, we do an example together, then you solve exam format exercises on your screen while I watch.
Everything stays in your course space
The slides, the exercises with their correction, the flashcards from the session, and what you work on before next time.
No card. You then choose between the full course and one to one tutoring.
Everything is built on the official curriculum, written and checked by a charterholder who teaches all three levels.
Every month
A live session with me, on your questions.
Once a month, in the evening, we meet over video, all levels together. A question is blocking you on a chapter? You leave it in your course space the moment it comes to you. On the evening of the live session, I take the ones that come up most, I redo the calculations on the board, and I answer what is left. You can't be there that evening? The recording is in your course space the next day.

What my students write after my classes.
« Really effective preparation. Straight to the point, difficult notions become simple, and not a minute is wasted. I gained confidence at every step. »
« Time flies in his classes. The material comes alive, and the explanations always land exactly right. »
« Everything is illustrated, nothing stays abstract. You understand the why behind every answer, not just the rule. »
Excerpts from evaluations of my institute classes, reworded and translated.

My course, in two formats.
I would rather tell you here. Both formats rest on the same thing: your skills map, which your course space updates with every answer. The full course gives you the whole course and a live session with me every month. The private course adds an hour with me, prepared from your map.
Your skills map
Everything starts from your skills map.
- 1
You work, it fills up
Every question, every mock and every move inside a chapter is tied to a skill from the curriculum. Your map shows you what is solid, fragile or critical, and your week plan rebuilds itself from it.
- 2
In the live session, I start from your maps
Every month I take the skills that come out critical for the most students and the questions you left, and I redo the calculations live.
- 3
In a session, I start from yours
In the private course, I read your map before we meet, I pick three or four skills from the same chapter, and the hour is only about those.
